Booking Ahead Can Make Life Easier

One of the top questions we always get from travellers is: "Should I book my hostels ahead of time?"

There's no clear-cut answer for this one but we do always recommend you book at least the first few nights of your trip. In high season, especially in Europe and Australia, you should always think about booking ahead, or during festivals or important events. You can never go wrong with booking ahead, but if you're a bit more of a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants traveller, feel free to wing it but you won't be guaranteed a spot to sleep!
