12 Months of Hostelling - Victoria

Victoria Day is on May 21 this year, and where better to celebrate it than the good queen’s namesake city? You can watch Victoria’s largest parade event on Douglas Street, and since this will be the 150th anniversary edition of the parade, you can bet it will be more fun than ever.

NSCS Discovery Café at HI-Vancouver Jericho Beach

The new licensed café/restaurant at HI-Vancouver Jericho Beach has officially been named ‘NSCS Discovery Café’ (NSCS stands for North Shore Culinary School). Thank you to all those who voted for their favourite name back in December. The café is now open at HI-Vancouver Jericho Beach and is a great addition to the hostel’s facilities.
