RTW: The Logistics

A year and a half ago, I decided that I needed to go travel, and I needed to go for a long time. I spent eight-and-a-half months on the road and have been back in Canada for a few weeks. After the obligatory questions of "How was your trip?" and "What was your favourite place?" a lot of people want to know just how I pulled a stunt like this off.

Sydney's Sails

Nothing says "Cheese. Wish you were here!" quite like a postcard of the pearly-white sails of Sydney's Opera House. But what makes the Opera House so spectacular is not so much its curving sails, but its backdrop of Sydney Harbour. Insider Tips on the Music Industry

Walking the same streets as the counter-culture generation reminds me that once upon a time, people had the power to protest without Facebook.  Sex, drugs and rock n' roll went hand-in-skipping-hand with sit-ins; rock n' roll was prefixed by the word pyschedelic yet had political, social and cultural statements; and a grass-roots movement (using music as a powerful means of communication) started, which would influence generations to come.  Read more »
