Volunteer Opportunity in Calgary this weekend

We are still in need of a few volunteers for our upcoming casino in Calgary on June 3 and 4 at the Stampede Casino. Funds from the casino go toward improvements of our Southern Alberta hostels. Our last casino raised over $75,000 and we hope to achieve the same or greater this time around.

We can’t hold a casino without volunteers and we still have the following shifts available:

Sunday June 3: 11:15 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. one chip runner; 6:15 p.m. – close (approx.. 2:00 a.m.) one chip runner; 10:15 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. two countroom staff

Monday June 4: 11:15 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. two chip runners and one cashier; 6:15 p.m. – close one chip runner

All volunteers are entered in a draw to win a $400 WestJet gift certificate. One entry per shift so, if a person works more than one shift they get more than one entry.
