Two more Western Canadian hostels join HI-Q Ranks
Earlier this month, the International Youth Hostel Federation announced that HI-Lake Louise Alpine Centre and HI-Edmonton have received their HI-Quality certification, ranking them among the best hostels in the world.
HI-Montreal also joined the HI-Q ranks.
HI-Quality is a program run by the International Youth Hostel Federation, which oversees national Hostelling International networks around the globe. This is a long-term initiative that requires hostel owners and managers to adhere to a high level of hostel management and operations standards.
HI-Lake Louise Alpine Centre and HI-Edmonton are among 11 Canadian HI-Q certified hostels, eight of which are in Western Canada.:
HI-Banff Alpine Centre
HI-Vancouver Downtown
HI-Vancouver Central
HI-Vancouver Jericho Beach
HI-Victoria
HI-Calgary City Centre
HI-Quebec City
HI-Montreal
HI-Toronto
