What does Canada / Being Canadian mean?
Out on the streets of Vancouver for the opening of the Olympics I had an important question to ask!
The celebrations were going on strong and the people of Canada were in the mood for revelry..... as a visitor to Vancouver I thought I ought to find out what it really meant for people to be Canadian and what images the thought of Canada brought up...
There are some strong common themes out there, but one thing is for sure - everyone seemed to be having a great time on the opening night!!
People on the street were really very friendly (maybe the celebratory beers???) so I hope it bodes well for my 3 weeks here!
Don't be shy, come and say hello to the Englishman in the green beanie and bright green ski jacket!!
