HI-Kathmandu is only 3 km from the international airport and near banks and shops. You get an option of shared or private accommodation, internet access, a kitchen, a TV lounge, laundry, luggage room and mountain bike rentals.
Very close to Phewa Lake, HI-Pokhara also offers mountain views. Here, you'll get comfortable digs as well as expert travel information from staff on activities like rafting, paragliding, hot air ballooning, trekking, jungle safaris and more.
HI-Nagarkot, also known as Niva Niwa Lodge is a good base point for trekkers and is easy to get to from Kathmandu by bus. Only private rooms are on offer here, but it's a great option for a bit of a post-trek splurge.
