One lucky person is about to win the trip of a lifetime to Vancouver to scout out the fun in the Olympic City during the 2010 Winter Games this February. Submit a one-minute video that explains why you think you're the best person for the job and you could be in to win a round-trip flight to Vancouver, five nights at HI-Vancouver Central, a new video camera, $500 spending money PLUS a 5-day skip trip to Banff.

It might sound like a pretty sweet deal... Probably because it is.

It just takes a short video to prove you've got what it takes. Of course creativity is key, as always, but we really want to see your energy and passion for the people, places and cultures of the world. Video links must be submitted at www.hihostelspm.ca/blogthegames by November  21st at midnight. On November 25th, videos will be posted in the same place, and anyone can vote on their favourites until December 16th. Finalists will go before an expert panel of judges and the winner will be notified the week of January 1st. Competition will be fierce!

The winner will head out with Rebecca into the streets of Vancouver where the real fun will be during the Olympics. You'll submit short video-blogs to backpackerbuzz.ca,  showing people around the world just what it's like to be in the thick of the Olympic buzz.
