Their tourism board has a Get Natural campaign which pictures a half-naked bronzed Adonis, standing next to his skis at the top of a mountain, with the sun bouncing off pecks, peaks and pure white powder. This lone skier staunchly stands, seemingly to contemplate his naked navel and the untouched, heavenly surrounds.
I know. I thought chocolate, cheese and yodeling were the dream trifecta for Swiss marketing. Turns out, it's the Alps.

The newly built Scuol Youth Hostel is located near the train station and next to the mountain cableways. What else is there to say apart from this hostel is located in the exclusive St. Moritz, one of the oldest and most famous winter resorts in the world? Well, there are over 300 days of sun each year; the highest summit in the Eastern Alps (Piz Bernina), lies a few kilometres south of the town; the year-round population is 5600 and there is over 3000 seasonal employees; and there are sports activities right outside the hostel door year-round, as it's located at the edge of the forest, not far from a lake, and a short drive from ski resorts. During winter, there is a local ski bus which which takes you to the nearest mountain railways.

Stayed in several hostels in Switzerland a couple of years ago. Outstanding. And the best organised and most informative hostelling website I've seen made selection, and some booking, easy.
